oceanus hotel casino

“I Stanley Ho will not agree with the Oceanus project, I think too big, too much, we can not operate such a huge project involving so many factors. It may be a good idea from the start but it doesn’t work, I am giving up this project and I think the government is supporting me 100 percent.”

Interesting. I get the impression the government actions are just an excuse.

I don’t think he is willing to risk his own money on a major project when he knows he is struggling to compete on the same level as the internationals.

I also think he is worried about the further loss of income if he shuts down Jai Alai, which is basically a dump attracting the lower end of players, for a flashy new casino catering for people more likely to want to go to the Coati.

It will damage him though as the replacement shopping centre is looking no where near as good as the old one and was supposed to be only a temporary building (it looks it).
